However, between the years 1995 and 1998 there was a big decrease in the figures again. Only 7.33% of housing units were constructed in this period of time in Montana. There was a further dip in housing structures being built between 1999 and 2000 to 13.31%.

People who said that they were Presbyterian amounted to 0.92% and those who were Methodist came to 1.69%. The Presbyterian Church was formed in Scotland and the Methodist Church has its roots with John Wesley an English minister, they are both Christian Churches. They both believe in the sovereignty of God but they have their own way of expressing this to and in the world. They are generally speaking more traditional than some other Christian denominations.

Lutherans again a Christian church, totaled 6.41% and this denomination was founded by Martin Luther a German minister. Pentecostals are a group of churches with perhaps more evangelical or charismatic beliefs of God, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. The holy trinity; the three in one. Pentecostals numbered 3.02% in Montana. Episcopalians, another Christian Denomination totaled 0.50% and the total number of Baptists was 2.72%. As the name suggests there is a connection with Baptism. One of the main beliefs in the Baptist Church is that they believe that babies, young children or adults who do not believe in the one true God as savior should not be baptized.
