About Panama
It is noted that the southernmost of the Central American nations, Panama is south of Costa Rica and north of Colombia. Did you know that the Panama Canal bisects the isthmus at its narrowest and lowest point, allowing passage from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Panama is slightly modester than South Carolina.
It is marked by a chain of mountains in the west, moderate hills in the interior, and a low range on the east coast. Did you know that there are and have always been all-encompassing forests in the fertile Caribbean area.
Panama is recognized to be one of the fastest growing tourism destinations in Latin America. Notwithstanding the fact that closeby Costa Rica still takes most of the Central American incoming visitors, Panama is gaining the lime light as a premier destination for eco tourism, retirement and and for its cosmopolitan lifestyle. |
