About Czech
Within 1989, after the Velvet Revolution ended the communist regime that ruled former Czechoslovakia, millions of travellers from the west started coming in droves to what is now the Czech Republic (after CZ and SL split in the amicable 1993 Velvet Divorce), especially the Czech capital Prague. And with good reason. Note that this Central European country really has to this day a lot to boast about, and Prague is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world. Did you know that the country's ancient tradition of brewing beer (Budweiser was originally a Czech beer, the original - Budvar - is still brewed in Ceské Budejovice, at a place you'll discover the most impressive and largest local community square and have always been in Europe) makes your reservation in the country an even more enjoyable one.
It is noted that the Czech Republic's central European landscape is dominated by the Bohemian Massif, that rises to heights of 3,000 ft (900 m) above sea level. Note that this ring of mountains encircles a larger than normal elevated basin, the Bohemian Plateau. Did you know that the principal rivers are and have always been the Elbe and the Vltava.
